434 Reads

What a turn of events.

After weeks of speculation and rumors around where Tony Romo will be playing next season, it looks like the Tony Romo saga may finally be coming to end.

Much to the chagrin of Texan and Bronco fans everywhere, he won't be playing for either either team. In fact, he reportedly won't be playing for any NFL team next season.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Tony Romo is planning to leave football and go into broadcasting. Despite, Dallas planning to release him today.

There have been rumors that broadcasting networks were wooing Romo as well as  widespread reports that he has lucrative offers to work in TV and could replace Phil Simms as the No. 1 analyst on CBS.

Those offers have apparently led Romo to decide to leave football after 12 years move into his next career.

The Cowboys were attempting to trade Romo, but were unable to find any suitable offers.

Stay tuned for more information.
