Emilia Clarke Spills Season 7 Details
Emilia Clarke, actress of Daenerys Targaryen, told all in a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine.
It seems the Mother of Dragons will live to see the show's end, as she told Rolling Stone, "I have no doubt there'll be prequels and sequels and who knows what else. But I'm doing one more season, and then I'm done."
Season 7 having been filmed already, Clarke can only be talking about Season 8. Fans of Dany can rest easy knowing that the Khaleesi will live through the upcoming season.
While she refuses to tell exactly what is to come in July, she promises that Season 7 will be everything we hoped it would be.
"It's a really interesting season in terms of some loose ends that have been tied, some really satisfying plot points, some things where you're like, 'Oh my god! I forgot about that!' Rumors are going to be confirmed or denied."
Clarke reveals how emotionally attached she is to the show, and how important it has been to her life and career.
"It's my beginning, middle and end - the single thing that's changed me most as an adult."
She also mentions that she's been spending more time in filming in Belfast than before - a hint that the Khaleesi will be seen in the North very soon.
Until July 16th, though, we'll just have to wait with baited breath to see which rumors are confirmed and which are denied.
