You're Going to Want to Hear This Arya and Sansa Theory
With each new episode of Game of Thrones come no doubt hundreds of fan theories, most of which can be discarded along with the tin foil hats. However, thanks to the most recent episode "Stormborn", an older theory from Reddit has now reemerged and it actually makes a lot of sense.
We learned from the most recent episode, "Stormborn' that Arya has changed course and is finally returning to Winterfell thanks to Hot Pie's revelation that Jon Snow is alive and King in the North. However, thanks to this theory, we may have subtly known this would happen for a while now.
The theory relies on a bit of word play. Remember the phrase "no one"?
These clips come from when Jon promised Sansa he wouldn't let Ramsay hurt her again and when Jaqen H'ghar addressed Arya after she killed the Waif, respectively.
Is Sansa referring to no one in the literal sense or her sister, Arya? Of course, Sansa probably does not know about the faceless men, so this could be an easter egg from the show runners that proves Arya is the only one who can protect her. Knowing Game of Thrones, Sansa's choice of words were probably not just a coincidence.
This would definitely change the dynamic between the Stark girls, which was not exactly the best last they met in season 1. If Arya successfully returns to Winterfell (we know she hasn't had great timing in the past, but that's a theory for a different day), the sisters will desperately need each other's help to survive. Arya is now a trained assassin and Sansa is cold and calculating, having picked up a thing or two from Cersei.
Maybe they're the bad ass team we've been waiting for on Game of Thrones.
