Jon Snow is "in Mortal Danger" Season 7
He came back from the dead but can he die again? Jon Snow may not be as safe as we think (but really, is any GoT character?) Kit Harrington provided the details in a recent interview with SFX Magazine.
"I felt safe in season 6 because I thought it would be bad storytelling to kill me in the [same] season I'd been resurrected! But as for seasons beyond 6, it's back to business. He's in mortal danger like anyone else."
This is potentially huge news. Fans are relying on Jon Snow to team up with Dany, to be Azor Ahai, and maybe even sit on the Iron Throne. All this could be derailed in a matter of seconds, as Game of Thrones does love killing off our favorite characters.
This arguably does make season 7 more exciting. As Jon Snow is as in much danger as "anyone else", we can't sit back and watch comfortably; we have to be constantly vigilant for our favorite character!
Harrington said that Jon Snow might have been too optimistic at the end of season 6.
"At the end of 6, being crowned King in the North, there's a small smile on his face. He can start getting stuff done, and start trying to save people and protect people, and do what he's been trying to do for ages."
Unfortunately, the worst comes in Game of Thrones just when you get comfortable (i.e. every wedding in the show). As Kit Harrington also pointed out, "the world's fucking ending!" Remember? White Walkers? Yeah, they're a thing. Winter? Still coming. Sorry, King in the North, but your might kick the bucket for good this time.
So, are you more worried for season 7 now?
