Did "The Hound" Actor Just Reveal a Major Spoiler?
Despite HBO keeping season 7 under lock and key, the spoilers are flowing. We have a new one concerning a character you either love to hate or hate to love: The Hound.
In an interview with Empire Magazine, The Hound actor Rory McCann hinted at the fate of his character come season 7.
"I think my body can only take one more season," the actor said, "I'm sore."
Does this mean this is the last season for The Hound or is season 8 when he takes on the helm of dying like all GoT characters eventually do?
The actor remarked in his interview that season 7 was the most physically grueling to film, meaning he will see a lot of action. In some released photos, the Hound is seen riding in the North with Beric Dondarrion, member of the Brotherhood without Banners and follower of the Lord of Light. This probably means The Hound will join forces with the Starks and Jon Snow at Winterfell and will be fighting against the Lannisters.
Winter is Coming
All this information combined could spell out something fans have been not so patiently waiting for: "Cleganebowl", the fight between the two brothers, The Hound and the now zombified Mountain, who is on the Lannister side.
If the Starks and Lannisters clash in season 7 (which they inevitably will), the Hound and his brother might go head to head in an epic fight, fulfilling this popular fan theory.
