6 Reasons PS4 Kicks Xbox One's Ass
Ah, the great debate goes on. For those of you looking to make that big purchase or just talk shit to your Xbox One friends, it’s important to do a little research before jumping in.
Between Playstation’s enormous list of games, It’s VR gaming and its ease of use, there’s no doubt that Playstation is the superior console. Here's a breakdown of why PS4 beats Xbox One.
Ease of Use
Your grandma would be able to pick up a Playstation 4 and figure out how to navigate. It’s extremely simple with most of it moving side to side or up and down.
I recently messed around with an Xbox One homepage and it was a disaster. The sidebars pop up in every direction and it’s not user-friendly at all. The decision is simple. PS4 wins everytime.
Imagine for a moment, one of the scariest games in existence; Resident Evil 7. Now throw yourself into the game with VR! That reason alone should be enough to convince you to get a Playstation over an Xbox.
If you want VR in your gaming, The Playstation VR headset is your only option on the market. Playstation VR also includes Biohazard, Batman Arkham and Star Trek: Bridge Crew.
Better Exclusive Games
PS4 has some of the best exclusive games including Horizon: Zero Dawn, Persona 5, Nioh, Uncharted: Lost Legacy and NieR Automata. Oh, that’s not enough for you?
Well Playstation also has some exclusive games in development including Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man project, God of War 4, Death Stranding, Days Gone, Detroit: Beyond Human and The Last of Us: Part 2.
Better Performance Vs. Xbox One
Even if you don’t upgrade to the Pro, the regular PS4 will still give you a better performance. Developers have been able to get their games running at a full 1080p on PS4, while some of the very same titles will only run at 900p on Xbox One.
For example, Mass Effect: Andromeda is expected to have a lesser resolution on Xbox than PS4. You’re not going to want miss anything while playing Mass Effect.
It Looks Better Aesthetically
The PS4 is sleek, shiny and much sexier. The Xbox One looks like a giant white box, and it also comes with a massive power brick. Good luck finding a place to put that.
While the Xbox One S is smaller, it still looks uninspired and your only option is white.
Say goodbye to cable. The Playstation Vue starts at $40 a month and includes live TV and sports.
You can also upgrade to premium channels such as HBO and Showtime. In the end, this is a way cheaper option than cable.
